A magical week to remember will be spent in the show-stopping, dog-friendly beach house Rosevarlock, nestled right above the sands of Polzeath. Boasting four floors of contemporary beachside living, you can enjoy one of the highest vantage points in central Polzeath, cook al fresco on the roof terrace and enjoy a movie marathon in your very own home cinema. After an exhilarating session amongst the white water on your new wooden bellyboards, revel in post-surf indulgences on the roof garden with the finest local tipple and nibbles in hand from your artisan Cornish hamper and the famous Polzeath sunset as your backdrop.

On one of the seven days of your holiday, choose the Skybus or Scillionian III and hop across to the Isles of Scilly with three of your friends and family (plus a four-legged friend subject to availability on Skybus). Once you arrive, you will be whisked away to the magical island of St Martin's by boat provided by the St Mary's Boatmen's Association. You will then head off for a tour of one of the country's most scenic vineyards, the St Martin's Vineyard and Winery where you will get to taste their range of delicious organic wines.

A luxurious lunch is then provided by Karma St Martin's, situated alongside white sands and turquoise waters. Sample the best of Isles of Scilly with local, seasonal ingredients including fresh fish and crab caught on the doorstep. You will then have time to explore the island and head to one of the famous beaches with powder white sand or browse the independent shops.

• An out of season week’s stay at Rosevarlock, Polzeath (sleeping up to 10 guests and two dogs).

The closing date for this competition is midnight on the 09th September 2023. Entries received after this time will not be counted.

Latitude50 accepts no responsibility for entries unsuccessful due to a technical fault.

The winner will be chosen at random by Latitude50 within 7 days of the end of the competition. Latitude50 will check that the winner drawn has met the entry criteria (follow both Latitude50 and Isles of Scilly on Instagram or Facebook and tagged friends that they would like to bring with them).

The winner will be notified by email or telephone by Latitude50 and must confirm their details to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond to Latitude50 within 7 days of being contacted, Latitude50 reserves the right to select another winner. The winner will only ever be contacted by Latitude50 directly and the winner would never be asked to provide card details in order to enter.

The winner of the competition will receive:

• A week’s stay at Rosevarlock, Polzeath.

  The prize must be taken during a non peak week between March and October 2024 and booked before the end of October 2023 (excluded weeks include the weeks commencing 23 March, 30 March, 06 April, 25 May, 29 June, 06 July, 13 July, 20 July, 27 July, 03 Aug, 10 Aug, 17 Aug, 24 Aug, 31 Aug and 19 Oct). Rosevarlock has a Saturday changeover day. Dates are subject to availability.

  The maximum capacity of the house is 10. Two dogs are welcome at Rosevarlock. A refundable security deposit of £750 will be taken from the winner and this will be refunded after the holiday, subject to an inspection of the property. By booking the holiday, the winner is deemed to have accepted and agreed to Latitude50’s full booking terms and conditions, which can be viewed here.

• A day trip for four people and one dog to the Isles of Scilly on either the Skybus plane departing from Land's End or the Scillonian III ferry departing from Penzance. This will need to take place between March to October and will be subject to availability and weather conditions.

• Return boat tickets to the island of St Martin’s with the Scilly tripper boats courtesy of St Mary’s Boatmen’s Association.

• A tour and tasting experience for four people at the St Martin’s Vineyard and Winery.

• A lunch for up to four people at the Karma St Martin's hotel. The winner must book in advance and make Karma St Martin's aware of any allergies at the time of booking.

• Two handcrafted, adult size wooden bellyboards by Dick Pearce & Friends.

• An artisan Cornish food hamper sourced from The Arc at Hawksfield.

All of the above elements are subject to availability.

The prize is non transferrable and there is no cash alternative available.

Travel costs are not included in the prize (other than the flight or ferry to the Isles of Scilly and boat to and from St Martin's); the winners will need to make their own travel arrangements. The accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis and meals will not be provided (other than the prize element on the Isles of Scilly by Karma St Martin's hotel).

If the weather conditions mean that the Skybus can't fly then the ferry can be arranged as an alternative. If weather conditions mean that neither the plane or the ferry can run, then arrangements can be made for the day trip to be taken at a future date (accommodation not provided by Latitude50). If, due to circumstances beyond their control, Latitude50 are unable to provide the stated prize, they will endeavour to provide a substitute. Their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

In so far as is permitted by law, Latitude50 will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize.

The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of Latitude50 and their immediate families or anyone professionally associated with this promotion including property owners.

Isles of Scilly Travel Terms and Conditions

The prize consists of tickets for four people, plus one dog (subject to availability) either on Scillonian III from Penzance or Skybus from Land’s End with Isles of Scilly Travel in 2024.

The travel vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of date of issue. The tickets will be valid for travel at all times except UK school holiday periods and/or bank holidays.

Travel can be booked by the prize winner, subject to availability.

Any additional expenses in the general use of and enjoyment of the prize, that the winners incur are the sole responsibility of the winners.

Prizes are subject to availability. They are non-transferable, non-refundable and there are no cash alternatives. In the event that circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to, in its sole discretion, award alternative prizes of equal or higher value.

If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide the stated prizes, we reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. There is no cash alternative.
