Cocooned in coastal character, The Mariners enchants with its original features, toasty log burner and a rooftop terrace, perfect for sunset gatherings overlooking Port Isaac's cottage tops.

Description

Perched on the edge of the harbour, The Mariners invites you to slow down and savour each coastal moment. Surrounded by Port Isaac’s charm, this romantic retreat offers endless temptations for food lovers and explorers alike. Here, scenic paths lead you to secluded coves and clifftops, perfect for a day of adventure before heading back to the warmth of The Mariners with your four-legged friends in tow.

Step inside and discover a welcoming living area warmed by a characterful log burner, the ideal spot to gather after a day spent by the sea. Slate floors and whitewashed walls capture the fading light, while statement lighting casts a glow over the chunky wooden dining table, setting the scene for family feasts and laughter shared over flickering candlelight. Even your canine companions will be made to feel as welcome as you with a toy box laden with dog toys and towels.

In the cosy kitchen, the stylish Smeg fridge and cottage-style touches invite you to prepare simple meals, each bite made better by the fire’s warmth and the sound of friendly voices.

Head up the staircase to two peaceful bedrooms, each a soothing sanctuary. The main bedroom brings a touch of nostalgia with its Victorian fireplace, while the adjoining spa-like shower room beckons you to unwind, lingering under a warm cascade of water. Across the hall, a softly lit family bathroom provides an ideal retreat for rinsing off after a salty day by the sea.

At the top of the house, the third bedroom offers a playful escape. Draped in rose-pink hues and fairy lights, it features a decorative iron bed nestled under whitewashed beams. A cosy sofa nearby provides the perfect nook for curling up with a book and a hot cup of tea, with the vibrant hum of village life and sea shanties drifting up from below.

Outside, a rooftop terrace awaits, a magical space designed for lingering as day fades into night. Rustic wooden details and soft lighting set the scene for holiday lunches and sunset feasts, while the nearby garden room becomes the perfect hideaway for crafting cocktails under a canopy of stars.
