We are excited to bring you a short film showcasing the best of Rock.
Over the summer we have been out and about filming our favourite locations in and around Rock. We worked with a videographer and a certified drone operator to capture Rock from above.
Occupying a unique position where estuary meets sea, Rock is a truly magical holiday destination.
Take inspiration from our 5 favourite things to do in and around the Rock Road...
Walk to Daymer
Walk along the beach or coast path to the golden sands of Daymer Bay. Climb Brea Hill for breathtaking views or visit St Enodoc Church where the famous poet Sir John Betjeman is buried.
Sail away
Whether you’re an experienced sailor or a boating beginner, it’s easy to get out on the water. Rock Sailing Club is based on the Camel Estuary, just a short walk from many of our properties.
Pretty Porthilly
At low tide walk along to the secluded Cove of Porthilly where you can explore the picture perfect church of St Michael's and see where the famous Porthilly mussels and oysters are farmed.
Lunch with a view
After a morning exploring the beach and dunes, relax on the balcony at the Rock Inn and enjoy the breathtaking view over the estuary whilst sampling the local cuisine or a cold local tipple.
Practice your swing
Incorporating the sandy dunes of Rock, St Enodoc Golf Club looks out to the Camel Estuary and across the Atlantic. The club was ranked 99th in the world by Golf Digest and has two courses.
