Boardmasters

One of Cornwall's biggest festivals (worth the 40 minute drive from Rock and Polzeath), Boardmasters welcomes you into a world of music, surd and beach lifestyle. The main site above Watergate Bay will see headliners such as Liam Gallagher and Florence and the Machine. Head to the other site at Fistral Beach for the Boardmasters Open surf competition, the beach bar and shopping village.

Cornish Folk Festival

Over the August bank holiday weekend, the streets of Wadebridge come alive with music, dancing and stalls for this wonderfully small Celtic festival. You can even take part in your first Ceilidh, taking place on Thursday 24 August. The beautiful market town of Wadebridge is just a ten-minute drive from Rock and Polzeath.
