Occupying an enviable nook above the secret sands of Greenaway Beach, a holiday of wild swimming, rugged rambling and starry night skies awaits you at this utterly sumptuous bolthole.

Occupying one of the most sought-after positions on the Greenaway, this spacious family home is perched right above Greenaway Beach and is just a gentle stroll from Polzeath in one direction, and Daymer Bay in the other.

You may never want to leave the grounds of Seagull, but as the soft sands and turquoise waters call, you will be spoilt for choice for beautiful beaches within walking distance. Your closest is Greenaway, a longer walk for most so remains quieter in summer months. Here, you can enjoy dog walks, beach picnics, rock pooling and hunting for Cowrie shells.

The famous white rollers of Polzeath Beach are an easy walk away along the softly undulating coastal path. Watched over by lifeguards in summer months, this beach is family friendly and perfect for beach days and bodyboarding. Here, you can hire everything you need for watersports and choose from one of the fantastic local surf schools based right on the beach. In Polzeath you can easily pick up some holiday essentials and enjoy breakfast, lunch or supper in one of the vibrant cafes or restaurants.

In the other direction, discover the soft golden sands of Daymer Bay. Here you can enjoy a spot of wild swimming in the calm waters. On windier days, this is a kite and wind surfer's paradise. Behind the beach is the famous St Enodoc golf course and the crooked spire of St Enodoc Church. Challenge the family to a race up Brea Hill where you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Camel Estuary and beyond.

At low tide the beach at Daymer Bay joins up with Rock Beach. Here, you can enjoy family beach days or head to the sailing club or watersports centre and try everything from wakeboarding to wake surfing and paddleboarding to sea safaris. In Rock you can browse the independent shops and enjoy lunch with a view at The Mariners. You can catch the ferry from the beach which takes you across the estuary to the harbour town of Padstow, home to Rick Stein's array of fantastic seafood restaurants.
