With sand, sea, surf and Cornish countryside right on your doorstep at Hillcote, you'll be spoilt for choice of what to do first!
Away from the hustle and bustle of central Polzeath, Hillcote is set just one row back from the sea front. Nestled down a quiet road with off private, off-street parking, you can come and go with ease and there's plenty of public parking nearby should friends and family come to visit.
Here you're just minutes from Polzeath beach and the lesser-known cove of Baby Bay, perfect for refreshing morning dips or evening barbecues with the famous Polzeath sunset as your backdrop. Enjoy a family day on Polzeath beach or learn to surf with one of the fantastic local surf schools. You're also within walking distance of Daymer Bay and Rock beach, along the spectacular South West Coastal Path.
Walkers and dog owners will be in their element, with miles of coastal paths and acres of National Trust land to explore. Head up to Pentire Point and be rewarded with breathtaking views, then along to the rugged Rumps to take in the fantastic rock formations. For a longer adventure, walk to the picturesque cove of Port Quin and the famous fishing village of Port Isaac.
At Hillcote you're only a short drive away from a memorable day out. You could head to the scenic village of Rock for some golf, watersports, or just a spot of retail and foodie therapy. From Rock, catch the ferry across to the picturesque harbour town of Padstow to sample Rick Stein's finest fish and chips or well-renowned seafood. Alternatively, explore the cobbled streets of Port Isaac, buy some freshly caught seafood for supper or even treat yourself to the delicious fare at one of Nathan Outlaw's restaurants.
