There are plenty of restaurants to choose from without having to travel far. The Cracking Crab sits just below the house and has a large outdoor area from which you can enjoy your meal. Up the hill is the Oystercatcher, which is a great spot to enjoy evening drinks. You can also head across the beach to Surfside for some fresh lobster or steak.
If you enjoy surfing, Outrigger is the ideal property. Here, there's no need to check the surf report: you can simply look out of the window and be in the surf in minutes. There is selection of quality surf schools based on the beach, where you can hire equipment and take a lesson. But never fear if the breeze drops; on a calm day, you can try your hand at paddleboarding instead.
The popular estuary village of Rock is just a ten-minute drive away. Here you can enjoy the long sandy beach and extensive sand dunes or get on the water with a sailing or water-skiing session. You can also catch the ferry across to the harbour town Padstow and explore the plethora of shops and restaurants.
