Troy occupies an extraordinary position above Lundy Bay that few get to experience. Here you can enjoy an off the beaten track escape with the bright lights of Polzeath and Rock just minutes away.
Conveniently located just off the road running towards Polzeath, Troy is nestled above acres of scenic National Trust land that borders the coastline.
Troy is a walker’s delight; the coast path hugs the coastline along to Lundy Bay, Epphaven and Port Quin to the right and The Rumps, Pentire Point and Polzeath to the left.
Frequented mainly by locals, Lundy Bay can be found just down the coast path from Troy (a scenic 10 to 15 minute stroll via Lundy Hole). At low tide you can take the dog for a run on the beach, enjoy a spot of rock pooling or a swim.
Spend an invigorating day in the surf at Polzeath; from Troy you can escape the traffic by heading down the road via the National Trust Café to New Polzeath (20 - 25 minute walk). Here you can enjoy an evening barbecue at the picture perfect Baby Bay or walk along the coast path that leads down to the main beach at Polzeath.
Enjoy sailing, water skiing or a sea safari from Rock which is just a ten minute drive away. Here you can spend the day exploring the beach, dunes and bathing in the calm waters. Hop on the ferry to Padstow and enjoy Rick Stein's fish and chips around the harbour.
