When you aren't enjoying lazy days admiring the view from the sun deck, you can stroll down to lesser-known Porthilly Beach in less than five minutes or to the vast expanse of Rock Beach in less than ten minutes. Experience a fantastic day on the other side of the estuary by taking the ferry from Rock to Padstow. Here, you can stroll around the harbour and watch the fishing boats bobbing on the water. Why not sample some of Rick Stein's fish and chips with locally made ice-cream for dessert? If it's a special occasion, head to Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 restaurant for a fine dining experience.
