Little Lynam is nestled above the secluded cove at Porthilly and accessed via a private driveway off the Rock Road.
Little Lynam is set within beautiful grounds above Porthilly Cove, just around the corner from the golden sandy beach at Rock. The area's best kept secret, Porthilly provides a lovely quiet setting for family beach days and gentle strolls.
Porthilly sits alongside the Camel Estuary, with the idyllic church of St Michael's perched just above. Look out for baskets filled with freshly harvested oysters and mussels on the beach; this is where the famous Porthilly mussels and oysters are farmed.
While staying at Little Lynam, choose from a whole host of activities. You are within walking distance of the Rock Sailing and Water Ski Club, which offers lessons, or you can take a sea safari from the pontoon: a great way to explore the coast and spot wildlife. If you're bringing a four-legged friend on holiday, there are plenty of beach walks to take, with Porthilly Cove, Rock Beach and Daymer Bay welcoming dogs all year round.
You will be spoilt for choice for quality restaurants nearby. You can walk to The Mariners (a Paul Ainsworth pub), as well as The Upper Deck, The Dining Room and Four Boys Café. You can also catch the ferry or water taxi across to Padstow for fine dining with Rick Stein at the Seafood Restaurant or Paul Ainsworth at No. 6.
