Slipper Rock is conveniently placed on the main road running through Rock and down towards the beach.
At Slipper Rock you are only moments away from a selection of beautiful beaches. From here, you can take a leisurely stroll down to the idyllic cove at Porthilly: the ideal spot for an afternoon walk or family beach day. On a low tide, it's possible to walk around to Rock Beach on the sand, or on a high tide you can reach it by continuing down the Rock Road. From Rock Beach you can walk along to Daymer Bay and Polzeath Beach for a day of exploration.
If you enjoy getting out onto the water, you can learn to sail and water ski at the sailing club in Rock. If you'd rather be a spectator, catch a sea safari from the pontoon and enjoy the opportunity to spot local wildlife from the waves. From Rock Beach, you can also hop on the ferry and travel across to the beautiful harbour town of Padstow.
There are plenty of quality restaurants nearby, offering the best in local cuisine. Choose from fine dining at The Dining Room or a meal with a view at The Mariners, Four Boys Café or Upper Deck. Alternatively, pick up some local produce at the deli and butchers and make a delicious home-cooked meal.
